Hillsborough Football Junior Varsity Coaches

Coach Snyder is a former Hillsborough High School Football Player who graduated in 1994. He played as an outside linebacker and received All-County honorable mention and 2nd Team recognition. He went on to play for 2 years as a Safety at Highland Junior College. On his first year as Head Junior Varsity Coach, he brings with him 8 years of experience coaching Varsity little league football. His vision is to rebuild the junior varsity team and prepare our players to be varsity-ready by the end of their sophomore year.

Davin McCray has served 4 years as a Junior Varsity Coach for Hillsborough High School. He previously served as an assistant coach to Coach Ashwood at Middleton High School. Coach McCray graduated in 2001 from P.K. Yonge high school in Gainesville, Florida where he played wide-receiver and safety. He later went to play for Ohio State University where his football career was short lived due to an injury. Coach McCray also assists the Varsity football team in the spring and summer training camps.

Coach Magwood is a former Hillsborough High School Football Player who graduated in 1994. In 2016 he joined the Junior Varsity coaching staff in order to make an impact at his alma mater. After graduating from Florida A & M University, Magwood has spent most of his time serving as a head coach in the community. Since 2003 he has been coaching both basketball and football with a variety of little league teams such as the Boys & Girls Club, Junior Bucs, Temple Terrace Wildcats, Brandon Ravens and the Tampa Hurricanes. He also served as an assistant coach to Coach Ashwood at Middleton High School.
