Jonathan Wilson played letterman for both Football and Basketball at Hillsborough High School. On the football team he won honors for All-District, All-County, All-Suncoast, All-State Football, Frank Emmanuel Award, All-Conference Track and Field and Hillsborough County All-Star Team Captain. As a Senior Jon was in National Honor Society, Florida Key Scholar, played in California-Florida Bowl as Team Captain, FCA Hillsborough County Athlete of the Year, High School Heisman, Graduated from International Baccalaureate program.

He earned a scholarship to the Air Force Academy where he was a started on the football team throughout his four years. His Air Force Awards and Decorations include: 2004-2005 National Football Foundation All-Colorado Team; USAF Awards and Decorations: (2009) Lance P. Sijan Award Finalist; SMC Launch Range Company Grade All-Mountain West Conference; Outland Trophy/Lombardi Trophy/Rimington Trophy Watch List; Streets and Smith All-American; U.S. Air Force Academy Football Team Captain; (2010) utezone.com, Mountain West Conference All Decade Team.

Officer of the year. (2010) Lieutenant General Forrest S. McCartney Award, SMC Launch Range Company Grade Officer of the year. (2012) FAB-T Company Grade Officer Of the Year Jonathan is a Captain in USAF assigned to Specialized Management as Deputy Chief of Acquisitions. In this position he manages every aspect of highly Classified Programs critical to National Defense. Served in Afghanistan as the Operation Enduring Freedom TF Power Lead executing39 Life Support missions and enduring 42 small arms and indirect rocket enemy attacks. He was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, which is awarded for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service. Many more accomplishments to numerous to mention.
