Garry Smith was a Distinguished Service Award Winner – An outstanding interior lineman on 1950 City Champion Terrier team. – Selected All-City guard in 1950. – Served in the Korean conflict – Played West Coast Service League Football in the early 1950’s. – Former Deputy Director of Tampa’s Model Cities Program in 1960’s. – Appointed Governors’ Chief of Staff by Governor Bob Graham. – Generous contributing supporter of Terrier Football program. – Southeast representative campaign manager for Jimmy Carter. – He is a respected consultant to presidents, governors and mayors. Represented Bill Poe, Dick Greco. – Political consultant in Tallahassee and lobbyist. – Works with Salmon Smith Barney.
