Tom Murray was a Quarterback for the Hillsborough High School Football Team. Where he won honors for All-City, All-Western Conference, All-State, Honorable Mention All-Southern and part of the Last “Big Ten” Champions. His work in high school on the gridiron helped him get a football scholarship to the University of Miami where he played for the Canes until 1961.

Upon graduating from the University of Miami he became an Assistant Football Coach at Hillsborough High School from 1962-64. He later became the first coach at Tampa Catholic, and also served as their Athletic Director from 1964-70.

Since retiring from football Tom became a Division Manager for World’s Finest Chocolate from 1971-95. He later became a Sales Trainer for Readers Digest which has been doing since 1995 to present day.
