Mac Farrington played Running Back for the Terrier Football team and sill managed to get awarded letters in two other sports. For his play on the football field, he earned the honors of All-City, All-Western Conference, All-State, won the Guy Toph Trophy, played at the Florida High School All-Star game and was Honorable mention All-State. After graduating he attended FSU on a football scholarship where he played running back that played JV Football his freshman year, Mac chose not to be red shirted in his sophomore year and withdrew to enroll at USF. Mac died in an automobile accident in 1965.
